New ReviewerI go for perioscaling to a doctor outside of Great Expressions. At my last visit they took x-rays, did a full cleaning, and a complete tooth by tooth exam.
I was told I had two small cavities that needed fillings. I made an apppt. at GE, after taking more x-rays, and a 30 second exam, I was told I needed $10,000.00 worth of dental work. New crowns, root canals, etc.
This was only two weeks after seeing the periodontist. Last time I ever set foot in one of their buildings.
PS, I called the aforementioned doctors office to ask if I somehow misunderstood their findings, and was told absolutely not, two fillings was all I needed. He said I was being railroaded by an unethical two bit, embarrassment to the dental community.
Reason of review: Unethical, fraudulent practice.
Preferred solution: Full investigation by the correct governing authorities, if they tried this on me, they do it a lot, and people are surely falling for it..
Great Expressions Dental Centers Cons: It was the worst dental experience i have ever had, Incorrect assessments, Fraud.

Got news for you. Great Expressions and others like it are operating outside the law.
It is illegal for non-dentists to own dental practices in almost all states.Boards of dentistry can only discipline dentists and hygienists. They can't do a thing to corporate executives. That's why investor ownership of dental offices was made illegal to start with. Only thing you can do is complain to your state attorney general.
If he gets enough complaints, he will act like the AGs of New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Indiana have already.Your type of patient abuse is all too common.
I've seen patients who were planned for fillings all over the place when they had no cavities. WHAT TO DO: Only go to dentists who own their own practice, NEVER corporate clinics.
