I actually went to 3 of the offices in detroit area..there are so many bad things i could say but just want to warn u pf the most important ones..they will try to make you get deep cleanings when you dont need them, please get second opinion from other dentist if you are suspicious, they will make a plan of care and that will include things that your insurance may not pay for..if you do not want those services performed they will not work on you, for instance at the time my insurance didnt pay for the white filling material only the amalgum ( silver) for back fillings..the dentist refused to put in amalgum he said it was "too hard to work with" ..if i couldnt pay out of pocket for the other than he said i would have to go somewhere else..also beware of your first cleaning they try to upcharge you and say u need special antibiotic rinse (its just chlorhexidine mouthwash) which they charge like 50 or 100 dollars per section i believe it was ..and most insurances dont cover..theyre greedy rude, and they have actual sales people that try to pressure you into the care plan.. Amazing how some greedy people always find ways to steal and take advantage great expressions you SUCK!!!

They were trying to pressure me to get a deep cleaning. I felt like they were trying to get in my pockets.

Trying to get money out of your pants pockets more than they were trying to get into your periodontal pockets!

Here is the truth. GE don't generally stock silver amalgam filling so they CAN'T do silver amalgam fillings on you.

By the way, it is easier to work with than composite resin. You are right about them upcoding regular cleanings. And charging for Chlorhexidine is pretty ridiculous, when you can buy a whole bottle at the pharmacy for about $14.

yes i didnt say he was lying about the composite being easier to work with, just was first time i was forced to do something or not receive any care if i wasnt able to afford the composite..which btw they wanted over 100 out of pocket on top of what my insurance was willing to pay per tooth!..they are just a really bad dental organization in so many ways, i hope many are reading all these before giving them a chance! btw they wanted over $200 for the mouthwash used in cleaning out of pocket lol
