Dunning bill from Delta Dental

Initially a positive we will take care of this. Second attempt to resolve issue met with “just pay your bill” attitude and no offer to resolve.

Had services at Delta Dental on 1/12/2024. I paid my share and Delta Dental is now sending statement saying I owe $131.10. This has always been billed to Delta Dental and promptly paid Now I am getting billed $131.10. I paid my share and it cleared my credit card 1/14/2024. My premium is paid up to date and is deducted. So this is not an issue. Pay your contracted share of my bill.

User's recommendation: Dentist like to perform services not covered by this dental plan making you liable for fairly large co pays. Ok if things go their way but very difficult to contact if a question. Never reach a live person.

Horrible service

Great Expressions Dental Centers - Horrible service

Had a 10 o'clock appointment, there was no one else waiting upon arrival, it was 35 minutes before I was taken into a room. The room was open to the waiting room which was odd.

The attendant ask why I was there which was for a routine cleaning which is cover by my insurance 2x a year. She left and came back with an estimate for payment, again odd. Took Xrays and said a Dr would be in soon. Ok usually a cleaning is not done by a Dr.

Dr came in and said oh you need a special cleaning, I need to talk to my counterpart and left. The attendant came back in with another estimate now in the $100's. I said nope, left and called the insurance company. They stated they never received any requests from them for any issues.

I was 100% covered. I've never in my life had dental issues so knew this was BS from the get go.

Listening to them operate was like buying a used car. Stay away.

Understaffed customer service. Poor dental opinions given from dentist, resulting in constant pain ongoing in the tooth serviced.

You can never get through to a CSR at my location. Poor communication.

And the sad thing is that they are aware of this but have made no improvement.

Dentist performed services which rendered me in constant pain to the tooth which was serviced and told to get a root canal now to solve the problem, after the tooth was prepped and became extremely sensitive and then a crown was attached which was not fitted well enough for my bite, thus I cannot bite/chew on that side of my mouth without pain, and will have to get a root canal after the services rendered, which I would have not had the service rendered initially if I knew I would be in this constant pain. I was in no pain prior to the service. Just a poorly structured tooth with zero pain at the time, thinking by cleaning it up and adding a crown would help.

The worst! decision I could have made at the time.

This business will not ever see me again and I may seek legal advice, regarding the pain I have been in for upwards of 5-6 months now, and this pain changing the way I chew/bite my food every day!

Bad customer service

My wife and I both came in for dental service. The technicians were excellent, but the office staff is horrible.

The women who file the claims with our respective insurance companies refused to do so for whatever reasons--I don't understand how this might benefit them unless they are just plain lazy. I finally got my wife's insurance company, Florida Blue, to call and inform them of this, and the woman at the front desk said she would refund the covered charges back to my wife's credit card. It's been two months, and I think it is safe to assume the practice has now been paid twice! Of course no one returns my voicemail messages, and when I tried to call the home office to complain, I could not get anyone on the line, and its voicemail is predictably full.

Finally, after much frustration, I registered a complaint with Florida Blue.

This outfit is going to lose two good clients over this, and it's a shame because the dentists and the hygienists do really good work. These people at the front office, however, need to go back to whatever jobs they had previously as they are damaging this business.

Front desk staff wouldn't let me make an appointment without paying a balance of $25!!, I told her really all the money I have spent with this location I get Treated it so unprofessional it's the way she said it. I understand I owe a balance but to be so rude like that was just ridiculous. I didn't get her name , but she's a very dark girl with curly hair and a part in the middle. She really needs to go back to customer service school and retrain.. Miami gradens location.

No Work Culture and Toxic

After working for almost a year at Great Expressions Dental Centers, I was terminated without giving a legitimate reason for my termination. I later come to find, one of the higher ups, lets use X wasn't too fond of me or really, anyone in my team.

But Xs plotting was directed at our team and it was stirring for months to come. Every meeting I had with X, I asked for any kind of feedback or constructive criticism, X would always respond with absolutely nothing to give. Despite having a lot to say behind my back with others.Even though our team was having immense success, we never received positive feedback from X.

X had a tendency to closely monitor everyone and exhibit micromanaging attitudes. This approach stripped us of our individual agency, which is essential in any workplace.

Overall, I found the work environment under Xs ruling to be unsupportive and stifling.

As a young woman, of Latin American heritage, I felt discriminated and isolated in a work environment that should be safe and inclusive for everyone to be part of. My experience with Great Expressions Dental Centers (GEDC) was nothing short of a nightmare. The company's decision to terminate my employment felt personal and was executed in a shady and unprofessional manner.

On my last day, I was met with complete disregard from the HR department, the very people who should have represented the company's work culture. However, it became evident that GEDC lacked any semblance of culture, values, or consideration for their young, minority, and professional employees.

It was disheartening but not surprising to witness such behavior, especially when individuals with questionable backgrounds and a history of being fired were given positions of power within the company. It's no wonder that GEDC is plagued by a lack of company values and high turnover rates.

My story serves as a cautionary tale, highlighting the consequences of placing individuals who embody hostility, divisiveness, and envy in positions of power. Unfortunately, GEDC has failed to uphold a positive work environment, and it's clear that they are reaping what they have sown.

Suppose to have root canal

They gave me an appalment in the first 10 days of December,, because I have molar pain when I got there (office in Lehigh Acres), they told me they can do everything that day, but they need charge me the cost of the crown, and the work the dentist will do that day, she worked in my tooth, and put injection there of course hat temporally release the pain but when the effect of the injections passed, the pain was worst, so next day I went there and asked them please extract the molar, but they told e they can not refund the crown, and they have to make a root canal, but the dentist will make the root canal that day, they keep me for more that 1 hour with my mouth open, and I overhear the instrument was broken inside my molar tooth, and they told me I have to see the specialist, and the appalment is for January 16, and they have to charge me 169 for the work their dentist did that day, even when she left a broken instrument in my tooth, and I have to pay another 500 to the specialist, I was not happy because I have to wait until January 16, so they told me I can go on Dec 20, and the specialist will do everything, I went that day and they told me once there the specialist can not do the work that day, after I almost on my knee asked , they told me okay they will do that day, so I was with my mouth open 2 hours, and they telling the other place did not use the propper material to work in my tooth and they can not take out the cement, and after all that time they told me they will change me from my packet other 500 that day but I have to come back on January 16, when January 16 arrived day call me and told me that the doctor is sick and they can not attend me unti Febrory 6, so they have charge my insure, and they have charged me more than 1000 from my packet and I continue with my molar issue

Getting an invoice nearly 2 years later

Sent a billing statement and this procedure was paid in full in 2022. I will not pay this invoice so they need to straighten out there accounting department.

My mother is a patient and the doctor has been very helpful and supportive during her process of getting her new dentures. The staff, Tasha, in particular have been absolutely DISGUSTING. They are absolutely horrible to their elderly patients. My mother has been in tears from the horrible treatment from the office staff at the Fort Myers, Fl location on colonial Blvd. Shame on them. I hope they flush the toilet of the staff to find some competent and caring individuals to fill this location. Dr Broderick deserves better staff.

Two years ago, I made an appointment with Great Expressions Dental

This to me is a horrible overcharge dental place, basically a rip-off. The prices they have given me wow, and quick to charge your bank card.

Not doing anything but taking x-rays. I'm going to keep it nice and sweet, don't do it with this company. Yes I am dealing with another dental, and I called them my family which that how's it supposed to be. When my new Dentist took X-rays they advised me that Dental Expression were deceiving me, so they can get more money for nothing that I didn't need to be done, basically a bunch of lies.

I was really disappointed. Now Great Expressions Dental phony Care is calling me back after two years telling me to come in for a cleaning, what a joke.

People actually can die from their teeth, poisoning from a tooth. Thank God for my New Dentist, who took me in right away with no problem.

Horrible corporate customer service line! No one answers the queue and you wait for hours! I’ve been waiting for my $200 credit to be refunded back to me but can’t get a human on the phone and ofc manager at my dentist says it is out of her hands!

I received the worst Dental Treatment as far as Customer Service and providing accurate information at Great Expressions Dental on 17301 NW 27th Av they are the worst, walked out and left all my Dental Benefits on the table until next year, they misled me and are very rude especially the Office Manager Dasha or whatever her name is, if the Manager is rude what can you expect from the Employees. #GREATEXPRESSIONDENTAL#

Pissed customer

Made appt for CLEANING, instead they made me get $188 in xrays, tried to get me to pay for an Expensive cleaning trying to say I had "bone loss" and I left with No cleaning and pissed off. SCAM and you can't go to any of their other locations either without getting the extra expensive cleaning. Went back to my old dentist who is 2 hours away.

Can't reach anyone for responses. Terrible phone system. No call back. They're customer service is poor since they are one of the few dental offices in network with most insurance plans. Terrible front desk staff. Just a nightmare to deal with.

Overcharged me

Great expression overcharged me by $600.00. The only way I found out is through my Flex Spending Acct.

The EOBs showed I had overpaid. So to make a long story short now my FSA is suspended because they want me to refund money back to them what I paid to the Dentist office. To put the icing on the cake is the reason they did not match is because the dentist office did not submit other charges to the insurance company because they knew the insurance company would not pay.

The dentist office should have given me the opportunity to choose if I wanted to pay for these additional costs. Great Expresdions is a scam
